Charming and cozy stay!
Such a cute spot! We loved the spacious room with a big bath, super comfy beds, and the old-school vibe. Hedy and Anmol at the front desk were so nice, giving us great tips for our trip. The diner downstairs was fantastic! One thing to note, no elevator, so pack light if you’re on the upper floors.

The location is fantastic, just a short stroll to downtown, and the clean, modern decor added to the comfort of my stay. I loved the charm of the James Bay Inn. The room felt cozy with antique furnishings and was very clean. Free coffee in the morning was a nice touch. Staff were friendly and helpful, offering to carry my bags up. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the waterfront and attractive parks. I enjoyed the restaurant downstairs. the meals were delicious. On the downside, climbing the stairs was a bit tough, especially with luggage. No air conditioning made it a tad uncomfortable at night, but a fan helped. The bathroom could use some upgrades, particularly the shower. It was small, and the water pressure varied at times, which was annoying. Overall, it’s a lovely place if you don’t mind the quirks and enjoy a historic atmosphere.

Perfect for a couple's getaway!
I stayed for 2 nights in a Standard Queen Room and it was amazing! The location was perfect, walking distance to all the parks and food, and our room was nice and big! You could see the horse-drawn carriages go by from the window, which was a nice touch.
It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but it was all worth it.
